Family Nature Quest: Down by the Prairie

Meet at the BFEC Picnic Pavilion. Bring the whole family this Saturday to learn about Ohio’s prairies. Covering about 5% of Ohio’s land, prairies are vital resources for our native birds, insects, and other wildlife. Learn about the history of prairies in Ohio and then catch, observe, and release insects to explore our prairie and discover its role in Ohio today. In the event of inclement weather, program will be held in the Resource Center.
