Field Installer | Job Description

The Field Installer works as part of a collaborative team to complete roofing projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This role is critical in executing daily tasks, maintaining a safe job site, and ensuring that every installation meets both manufacturer guidelines and company excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Execution

• Roofing Systems: Execute tasks as directed, including the installation of shingles, underlayment, metal panels, and membranes.

• Material Handling: Ensure proper handling of materials per project specifications.

• Worksite Logistics: Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing tools and equipment to maintain an efficient workflow.

Teamwork & Communication

• Collaboration: Work closely with Crew Leaders and Project Supervisors to ensure a smooth daily workflow.

• Reporting: Provide timely updates on project progress, challenges, or material needs.

• Coordination: Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues and align with project goals.

Quality & Safety

• Safety First: Strictly follow safety protocols and consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Craftsmanship: Perform tasks with a high level of attention to detail to meet company quality standards.

• Compliance: Participate in quality control checks and address necessary adjustments immediately.

Tools & Equipment Management

• Operation: Safely and efficiently operate various hand and power tools.

• Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored properly at the end of each workday.

Problem-Solving & Adaptability

• Troubleshooting: Partner with the crew to overcome job site challenges like weather delays or unexpected conditions.

• Versatility: Adapt to changing schedules; this may include stepping in as a service technician or driver when required.
